GasBuddy was founded in 2009 by a team of engineers who believed India needed an infrastructure contractor that could go deeper, deliver better, and think longer-term.

We started with a single petrol pump in Gurugram. Within three years, 100 CNG stations. By 2015 we were empanelled with Indian Railways. Today we operate across 9 sectors, 28 states, with 800+ team members and ₹2000 Cr+ in delivered project value.

What types of infrastructure does GasBuddy build?

Is GasBuddy an approved Indian Railways contractor?

Yes. GasBuddy has been fully empanelled as an approved Indian Railways contractor since 2015. We are approved for civil works, bridge works, track works, electrical and energy works, and specialised works including rail fracture detection services, hydrogen train components, and solar power plant installation across all Railway zones.
Do you handle EPC (turnkey) projects or only civil works?

GasBuddy handles full EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) turnkey projects across all our sectors. This means we manage everything from initial design and engineering, through procurement, to construction, commissioning, and handover. We also undertake standalone civil works contracts where clients have their own engineering or equipment supply.
Can GasBuddy supply gas storage equipment without construction?

Absolutely. Our gas equipment division operates independently of our construction division. We supply CNG cascades, nitrogen quads, helium quads, Type-1 and Type-4 cylinders, and transport frames as standalone equipment supply contracts. We also provide installation and commissioning services separately if required.
Do you work on hydrogen infrastructure?

Yes — hydrogen infrastructure is one of GasBuddy's most exciting growth areas. We supply and fabricate Type-4 composite cylinders for hydrogen storage, deliver hydrogen fuel cell train components and on-board storage systems for Indian Railways, and are actively developing capabilities for hydrogen refuelling station infrastructure as the market develops in India.

For larger civil works like bridges and highway packages, mobilisation typically takes 4–8 weeks to set up site offices, access roads, and initial plant deployment.

For gas equipment supply, there is no minimum order value — we supply everything from a single Type-4 cylinder to a full 100-unit cascade system.
